Dog training is about building a solid relationship with your dog, helping him to become the best dog he can be.
While working with humans and their canine teammates our first goal is for both members of the team to be having fun and learning new things as well as being productive and successful. We want all of our students to feel comfortable asking questions. Our goal for you is to reach your goals, whatever they may be and have a good time doing it.
Our classes utilize marker training as an effective communication system with your dog. Our class structure keeps you busy to minimize down time and heavily focuses on engagement between you and your dog and working around many distractions.

Most of our classes are taught by both Reesa and James so you will receive plenty of instruction and one on one time with a trainer. If your dog is learning things at a faster rate than your classmates we will move you ahead in the curriculum to challenge your dogs skills and keep you both learning. Similarly if your dog is struggling with an exercise we will let you work at the pace that is needed for your dog to achieve success.
Our group classes utilize positive reinforcement and balanced dog training methods. This means your dog will learn new things with food rewards, will learn how to respond to leash pressure and once your dog has learned a behavior they will be held accountable for performing that behavior when asked.
We believe your dog needs to learn what to do and also what not to do.
Our group classes are best suited for non reactive, social/neutral dogs who are food motivated. If your dog struggles with any of those things we recommend starting with a couple private lessons before jumping into the highly distracting group class environment.
