Obedience/Behavior Modification
If you want one on one time with our trainers to discuss problems you are having with your dog or your dog is not suited for a group class private lessons are the way to go!
Our curriculum for these lessons are created with you. In our initial evaluation lesson we will collect a variety of different information from you, discuss your goals, your commitment level and then we can give you recommendations on what training program is best suited for you and your dog and develop the training plan.
Upon completion of at least one lesson at our facility we can progress to lessons out in public to work with real world distractions. This could be at a park, pet friendly store or trailhead.
We do not offer in home lessons.
If you have never worked with us before we require the first private lesson to be an hour long and then we can move to half hour lessons if you prefer.
With private lessons we use a balanced approach to training your dog and may use a variety of different tools and techniques to best solve the problem.
Agility
We also offer private lessons for agility held at Sirius Ranch in Palmer, those are generally booked in half hour sessions and do not require an hour long consultation prior. Dogs coming in for agility lessons need to have a working relationship with their people, meaning the dog can engage with the handler and will work for food or toys. Its also helpful if the dog is used to going to new environments and is confident in new places.
During our agility lessons we can focus on whatever your goals may be, from wanting to start agility for the first time all the way to seasoned competitors looking to fine tune handling or obstacles skills.
These lessons are great for leaning the sport with your dog as you will not have the distractions or pressures of a group class setting.

Obedience Private Lessons
Open to any age dog who wants more individualized attention
and one on one time to work on a specific issue. Lesson cost: $80 an hour for non reactive dogs. $40 for half hour lessons. In our initial lesson together we will be evaluating your dog and what skills you and your dog have together.
