In these classes you can take your obedience to the next level or teach your dog new tricks. All of these classes are held at our training facility. With the exception of our Hiking Skills class which is held at local parks and trailheads.
These classes are best suited for dogs who have already completed our basic obedience classes or dogs who already have a solid training foundation behind them.
If your dog is reactive and or aggressive towards humans or other dogs, is terrified around lots of people, other dogs or new situations we suggest starting with private lessons to address these behavior concerns before joining a group class.
These are advanced classes designed to test your dogs obedience and teach advanced concepts.

Rally Obedience ClassOpen to dogs 6 months and older.
Offered once a week for 4 weeks for $140. This class teaches you the fun sport of Rally Obedience and preps you to compete. This class is designed for dogs who already know sit, down, heel and come. There are 2 levels of this class your dog will learn all the novice and intermediate rally signs in level one, advanced, excellent and master rally signs in level two. |
CGC Prep ClassOpen to dogs 4 months and older.
Offered once a week for 4 weeks for $140 This class is all about getting your dog ready to pass the AKC Canine Good Citizen Test which will be offered on graduation week. This class is designed for dogs who already have at least a basic understanding of cues such as sit, down, stay, heel, come and are not overly fearful or reactive towards other dogs or people. We will be building on all those behaviors for more reliability in the presence of distractions and creating longer duration stays. |
Hiking Skills Class Open to dogs 6 months and older.
Offered once a week for 4 weeks for $160 class is 90 min long. This class is designed to teach your dog valuable skills out on the trail so they can accompany you on all your adventures. This class will cover - Focus around distractions Reliable recall Heel Down in motion Group stays Skills for passing other hikers and dogs. How to handle the off leash out of control dog running towards you. This class is open to all dogs but some base line obedience skills need to be in place like a basic understanding of recall, sit, down, stay and food or toy motivation and ability to work with handler. Reactive dogs are allowed but must be muzzle trained. Competitive Obedience ClassOffered once a week for 4 weeks for $140.
This class will focus on the exercises seen in AKC obedience and is designed to get you and your dog ready to compete! Dogs should have a general understanding of all basic obedience commands such as sit, down, heel and stand with duration. We will be working on fine tuning all of these skills in accordance with AKC obedience rules. Multiple levels of this class will be offered. |
Tricks ClassOpen to dogs 4 months and older.
Offered once a week for 4 weeks for $140 Dogs in this class must be proficient in marker or clicker training, know how to offer behaviors to earn a reward and know how to follow a food lure. What will my dog learn? There are 3 levels of this class all geared towards earning AKC trick dog titles at the end of each class.
